Registration information:
Adults with developmental disabilities may join a book club or writing club regardless of their literacy level. If you are interested in our Next Chapter Book Clubs or Jot It Down Creative Writing Clubs, you are not required to attend registration. The registration process is ongoing. Literacy Nassau's Next Chapter Book Clubs
These small book clubs of 6-8 people offer adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities the opportunity to read for pleasure and socialize in the community. Guided by a pair of trained volunteer facilitators, Literacy Nassau's Next Chapter Book Clubs meet weekly for an hour at select libraries and cafes across Nassau and Suffolk counties.

Jot It Down - Creative Writing Club
Adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities learn to express themselves creatively through writing, make new friends, and enjoy community life.
